I felt that I was in safe hands from diagnosis throught to hip replacement surgery.Stay in Highfield Castleton was exemplary, all nursing staff were attentive and helpful.
Would recommend this surgeon, staff and Highfield hospital to anyone needing to under go this procedure.

Mr Kumar is thorough, caring and knowledgable.
I saw him at Pall Mall Medical. They provided fantastic services and a MRI scan the next day, with a report back in less than 48 hours!

Dr Kumar did a wonderful job on my hip replacement.
He discussed the operation with me and visited me after surgery.
He has a wonderful "bedside" manner. He listened to my questions and answered them in a clear understandable way.
We looked together at my before and after x-rays He explained the differences an what had been done.

Mr Kumar is a very caring Consultant, who very patiently listened to the medical problems and took a great care to understand then arrange appropriate treatment and care.
Mr Kumar explained each step of the medical procedure including about pre-surgery and post surgery care. He ensured that all questions and concerns were answered and addressed respectively.
Mr Kumar is a vary capable Consultant and we will always recommend him.

Mr Amit Kumar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Clinical Director of Sarcoma for Greater Manchester Cancer. His specialist interests are hip and knee surgery including joint replacement and knee arthroscopy along with soft tissue and metastatic bone disease.
